In the beginning, our meetings took place in the back room of a house in Waterlooville. Then, in 1984, as we had grown significantly, we moved our meetings to Waterlooville Community Centre in the mornings and Wecock Community Centre in the evenings.
As our vision was always to be fully immersed in the local community, we continued to look for a more permanent base. We soon found an old derelict Catholic building in Wecock, and fell in love! A developer was in the middle of purchasing the property with the purpose of demolishing it and building houses in its place. When he found out we would like to keep the building as a church for the local community, he pulled out of the purchase and allowed us to buy the property. Not only that, but for a significantly reduced price due to lack of funds on our part.
We had found our permanent destination and in 1995 we made our final and complete move.
God has continued to supply our every need and has gone beyond our wildest dreams in enabling us to carry out the renovations and also an extension. We are truly blessed!
